UNDERGROUND TOURS:
The Walk In Mine is the only underground Opal mine for tourists in
Lightning Ridge. Don't miss this opportunity to listen to a talk and

at the Ridge.
-Underground Opal mine tours are run throughout the day from 9am
- 5pm 7 days a week (closed Xmas Day)-
There is no need to book for underground tours, unless you have a
large group or Coach then it is advisable to book ahead of time.
When you take a tour underground you will see the layers of Opal
Clay and the beautiful sandstone roof . Being underground will give
you a sense of what Opal mining is all about , the blood, sweat and
tears that the miners endure for sometimes very little outcome and
then again there maybe a miner who has a lucky 'Strike' and can
become an instant millionaire.
OPAL FIELD TOURS:
Our business also caters for Coach tours with Our Tourguide on board
your coach or you can book groups (6 or more )through our tour
company We have an array of tours from 2 hours to 7 hour that can be
designed to fit your schedule.
Individuals are also welcome on our
daily tours that run morning and afternoon.
Tours include, Opal fields, various tourist attractions, Hebel,
Grawin , Glengarry, Sheepyards Opal Fields.
We can arrange lunches, evening
dinners accommodation etc.,
